    RK Russell is a former NFL defensive end turned author, filmmaker, and LGBTQ+ advocate. He made history in 2019 as the first active NFL player to come out as bisexual, using his platform to champion stories of identity, resilience, and authenticity. His critically acclaimed memoir The Yards Between Us was published by ESPN/Andscape/Disney Publishing, and he has contributed essays to The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Players' Tribune. As a storyteller, Russell brings a deeply human and intersectional lens to his creative work, with a focus on narratives that challenge norms and inspire connection. He is the founder of Red Velvet Productions and currently lives in Los Angeles, where he is developing film and television projects rooted in truth, grit, and heart.

    Named “One to Watch” by People Magazine, “11 Asian American Comics Who Need to Be on Your Radar” by Entertainment Weekly and highlighted as an entertainer who represents the vast spectrum of storytelling across the industry on the 2022 Power of Pride list from Variety, comedian, actor, writer, and prodigious talent Sherry Cola has proven she can do it all. Cola currently stars as Alice Kwan on Freeform’s critically acclaimed, hit drama series Good Trouble. In film, Cola is set to star in Adele Lim’s upcoming comedy project for Lionsgate and Point Grey Pictures. This year, she was casted in Randall Park’s directorial debut comedy drama, Shortcomings. In animation, Cola will lend her voice to Paramount Animation’s upcoming feature  The Tiger’s Apprentice. She was also recently heard in Pixar’s animated feature Turning Red.

    Born in Shanghai, China, Cola and her family moved to the United States when she was four and settled in the San Gabriel Valley. She attended California State University – Fullerton, and worked over three years on the campus radio station. After graduation, Cola joined AMP Radio 97.1 FM to eventually launch her own Sunday night show.  

    Following her success in radio, Cola broadened her artistic career with stand-up comedy and improv at Upright Citizens Brigade. Cola regularly produces new material as a stand-up comedian, recently opening for Arsenio Hall and Ronny Chieng. She performs regularly at Laugh Factory, The Ice House, Hollywood Improv and The Comedy Store, and recently filmed an episode of Funny Dance Show for E! (2020). She is also developing multiple passion projects, including a comedy based on her unique experience in radio. Cola is passionate about discussing the inequalities that exist within her Asian and LGBTQ communities and recently worked with the National Women’s Law Center (Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund) for AAPI Equal Pay Day, to discuss wage gaps and the recent Asian hate crimes in the U.S.

    Ally Maki is a Japanese American actress and the founder of Asian American Girl Club, an apparel company and social impact community that aims to redefine what it means to be a modern Asian American woman. Most recently, Ally was a series regular on seasons 1 and 2 of the Apple series BIG DOOR PRIZE opposite Chris O’Dowd. She also recurs on HACKS (HBO Max). On the feature side, Ally played “Miko” in Randall Park’s directorial debut SHORTCOMINGS, opposite Justin Min and Sherry Cola, which premiered at Sundance and was released by Sony Pictures in 2023. Ally also starred in SEAGRASS, which was in competition at TIFF in 2023. Ally can be seen in Freeform’s Marvel series CLOAK AND DAGGER, TBS’s comedy WRECKED, DEAR WHITE PEOPLE, NEW GIRL, 2 BROKE GIRLS, NCIS, THE BIG BANG THEORY, 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU, and TOY STORY 4. Beyond acting, Ally is vocal about ensuring representation in Hollywood and was selected for the 2021 Gold House A100 List of most impactful leaders in the Asian community. She is dedicated to her mission of creating equitable and promising opportunities for Asian Americans across all walks of life, especially amongst young women and the next generation. Last year, she won the CAPE “Best Actor In Film” award.

    Julie Guével Goldstone an award-winning French-American film director and visual storyteller. Her debut short film, The Elevator, premiered at New York Fashion Week and went on to win multiple awards across the international festival circuit, including honors from the Cannes World Film Festival, Paris Play Film Festival, and the Independent Shorts Awards.

    Prior to filmmaking, Julie built a celebrated career as a fashion and portrait photographer, with her work appearing in Vogue, The New York Times, and global campaigns for leading brands. Her evolution from still photography to cinema was a natural progression - transforming her refined eye for light, movement, and emotional nuance into narrative form.

    Now based in Los Angeles, Julie’s films merge her European sensibility with a distinctly modern visual language. She gravitates toward stories that explore the quiet tension between identity and desire, often capturing beauty in fleeting, unguarded moments. Influenced by European auteurs and the spontaneous intimacy of her children’s camcorder footage, her work reflects a deep fascination with how the ordinary becomes cinematic. Julie is currently working on her debut feature, If You Know You Know.

    Annie Huang is a first-generation Asian American producer who grew up in Vietnam, Taiwan, and Hong Kong before immigrating to the U.S. at age 11, where she learned English as her fourth language with the help of subtitled films. She has over seven years of experience in creative development, film production, and marketing strategy at Warner Bros. Studios, Universal Pictures, Searchlight Pictures, and Sony Pictures.

    Annie’s produced works have screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals including the Rhode Island International Film Festival, Hawai’i International Film Festival, HollyShorts, and the Austin Film Festival. She has produced films in collaboration with organizations such as Film Independent, CAPE, Rideback RISE, Netflix, the Latino Film Institute, and the Alliance of Women Directors. She recently wrapped production on her first feature film, Better Life. Her goal is to empower emerging filmmakers and help them break into the studio realm.

    Nat Mauldin is a WGA Award-winning comedy writer whose feature credits include Doctor Dolittle, The Preacher’s Wife, The In-Laws, Downtown and OpenSeason. He also worked as a story editor on such television series as Barney Miller, Newhart, It Takes Two, Have Faith and Night Court, which he also produced. He lives in Pasadena with his wife and too many dogs.

    Rhea Damani is a film producer and photographer with a deep passion for telling stories that speak to the heart. Born and raised in Kolkata, India, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Filmmaking with a specialization in cinematography from Whistling Woods International - one of Asia’s leading film schools.

    She began her career as an editor and cinematographer before moving to the U.S. to pursue her MFA in Film and Television Producing at Chapman University. She continues to build a body of work rooted in authenticity and emotional truth.  

    With experience on over 60 projects across a range of roles, Rhea has cultivated a distinct balance between creative vision and production strategy. As a producer, she is driven by a commitment to crafting impactful narratives that reflect the complexities of the human experience and linger with audiences long after the credits roll.
